Description of Services
Katie Stokes of Unleash Your Higher Self, hereafter referred to as “Practitioner,” provides intuitive energy healing services intended to help clients identify and release underlying energetic, emotional, and belief-based imbalances that may contribute to physical, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Sessions may include techniques such as emotional clearing, brain integration support, and energy balancing, all designed to support greater ease, clarity, and well-being.
Education and Experience
Practitioner holds a PhD in Child Development from Stanford University and has over a decade of experience in intuitive energy healing. Her work is informed by both scientific research and spiritual principles, and she has supported hundreds of people—both children and adults—in achieving greater calm, focus, vitality, and healing.
Scope of Practice
The Practitioner is not a licensed medical or mental health provider and does not diagnose or treat medical or psychological conditions, nor prescribe medications. Her services are complementary in nature and are not a substitute for licensed medical or psychological care. Clients are encouraged to continue working with their healthcare providers and to make medical decisions in consultation with them. The Practitioner’s role is to support the body’s natural healing capacity by addressing energetic and emotional imbalances.
Client Acknowledgement and Agreement
If Client has booked a phone appointment, Client understands that Practitioner will call the phone number provided by Client at the scheduled start time. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure the correct phone number is provided. If Client does not answer at the scheduled time, Practitioner will attempt to contact Client via text and/or voice message. Client must respond and connect with Practitioner within 10 minutes of the scheduled appointment time, or the appointment will be forfeited with no refund issued.
If Client has booked a Zoom appointment, Client understands that Practitioner will join the Zoom room at the scheduled start time using the link sent by email at the time of booking. Client must join the Zoom room within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, or the appointment will be forfeited and no refund will be issued.
If Client has booked an in-person appointment at the Practitioner’s office, Client understands they are responsible for arriving on time in order to receive the full benefit of the scheduled appointment time.
If Client has booked an in-person appointment at the Client’s location, Practitioner will make her best effort to arrive on time. If Practitioner is delayed, she will either stay beyond the original end time to fulfill the full session length or adjust the fee on a pro-rated basis to reflect the actual time provided.
Client understands that payment is due at the time of booking, and that all payments are non-refundable once booked. Client further understands that failure to appear for a scheduled session (by phone, Zoom, or in-person) will result in forfeiture of all monies paid.
Client understands they may reschedule their appointment with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice using the rescheduling link provided in the booking confirmation email.
Client acknowledges that Practitioner does not diagnose or treat any illness, and that none of the information provided should be construed as medical advice.
Client understands that energy healing services offered are not a substitute for medical care. Practitioner makes no claims regarding healing or recovery from any existing illness, nor the prevention of any future illness. If Client has health concerns, they are advised to consult with an appropriate licensed healthcare provider.
Client understands that any information provided is not intended for use in medical diagnosis or treatment, and does not create a physician-patient relationship. The services offered are not intended to replace medical treatment or consultation with a licensed provider, nor are they intended to substitute for any psychotherapeutic or counseling services in the treatment of mental health conditions.
Client acknowledges that Practitioner makes no guarantee of outcomes and accepts full responsibility for the use of any information received during the session. Use of any information or suggestions is at Client’s own risk.
If Practitioner provides suggestions related to nutritional or natural supplementation (e.g., vitamins, minerals, herbs, or homeopathic remedies), Client understands that they assume full responsibility for the use of such supplements and are advised to consult with a licensed healthcare provider prior to use.
Client understands that energy healing may occasionally result in temporary emotional or physical discomfort as the body and energy system shift. Such symptoms may include, but are not limited to, fatigue, mood swings, thirst, hunger, or other physical sensations. If such symptoms occur, Client is encouraged to contact either the Practitioner or a qualified medical professional.
If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, the remainder of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
Client understands that all sessions are confidential, subject to the limitations and exceptions of confidentiality governed by applicable federal laws and the laws of the State of Texas, where the Practitioner resides.
