Clara, age 15
“Clara is a totally different child this year compared to last year. She is thriving at school, both academically and socially.” — Clara’s mom
Before beginning Brain Integration, Clara struggled with slow processing speed and qualified for special education support at school. Learning felt effortful, tests triggered significant anxiety, and she had developed a strong dislike for school. Socially, she found it difficult to make friends and often appeared less mature than her peers.
Initial assessment showed reading comprehension at 45% on a 3rd grade level passage. Working memory was also on the lower end for her age (5 digits forward, 4 backward). She placed significant pressure on herself and became easily frustrated when tasks felt challenging.
Following Brain Integration:
- Reading comprehension improved to above 90%
- Working memory increased to 7 digits forward and 6 backward (normal for her age)
- Test anxiety significantly decreased
- Earned straight A’s in her first semester of high school
- No longer required use of her IEP accommodations
Clara also demonstrated increased confidence, independence, and age-appropriate social engagement, including forming friendships quickly in a new school environment.
