Credentials didn’t prepare me for this…
Even though I have a PhD in child development from Stanford and over a decade of experience in energy healing, and have helped hundreds of clients clients transform their lives, there was a time when I felt completely powerless to help my own daughter.
A mother’s worst fear: watching my child struggle
She had been adopted from China at 33 months, and I believed that love and a nurturing home would be enough to help her thrive. But instead, I watched her struggle with memory, focus, coordination, and even basic communication. No matter how many times I taught her something, it just wouldn’t stick.
And it wasn’t just learning or behavior. She also had real health problems, including heavy metal toxicity, recurring infections, constant congestion, and intense food sensitivities. I was dodging flying snot when she sneezed, removing half the foods from her diet, and managing a rotating list of supplements, but nothing seemed to make a lasting difference.
Searching for answers, but finding none
I started asking professionals for help. First her pediatrician, then a learning disability specialist, but neither had any insight or useful suggestions. I kept thinking, maybe I just haven’t found the right person yet. So I invested hundreds of dollars in a full neuropsychological evaluation, hoping this would finally give me the answers I needed.
The breaking point
But after all the time, money, and effort, the specialist looked at me and said she didn’t know what was going on or how to help. I left that office feeling completely hopeless. I had followed every traditional path I knew, and still felt like I was failing my daughter.

And the truth is, I was completely overwhelmed by her needs. I was stressed to the max, exhausted by the daily challenges, and desperate to find a way to give her the bright future she deserved.
Choosing hope over helplessness
But I couldn’t give up. I chose to follow my intuition and found a holistic practitioner who understood what was happening in her brain and had tools to help. After just 20 hours of therapy, everything changed. She could remember things. She could hold conversations. She learned to ride a bike. She became more connected to the world around her.
A moment I’ll never forget
I’ll never forget taking her to the aquarium after her treatment and watching her light up with curiosity and wonder, when before treatment, she hadn’t even seemed to notice where we were.
That experience showed me what’s possible when we stop waiting for the system to save us and start uncovering what’s really going on beneath the surface.
My mission today
Watching my daughter finally begin to thrive after working with the right practitioners was life-changing. For the first time, I had hope, and I knew I wanted other families to experience hope as well. That’s what inspired me to dive into the study of energy healing myself.
Over the past decade, I’ve integrated what I learned as a Stanford-trained child development expert with the tools and insights of energy medicine. That journey transformed not only my daughter’s life, but also my calling: to help other moms who feel the same overwhelm, confusion, and desperation that I once did.
Now I specialize in helping overwhelmed moms of high-needs kids uncover those hidden causes so their children can thrive and they can finally enjoy motherhood again. I believe that when we align a person’s brain, beliefs, and emotions, miracles happen.
