Before beginning Brain Integration, Nicole was experiencing challenges with attention, school engagement, confidence, and overall well-being. Her teacher had expressed concerns about her attention, social connection, and happiness at school. At home, Nicole often said she hated school, even though she was doing okay academically in her current school environment.
She also had a history of physical concerns, including food allergies, congestion, snoring, enlarged adenoids, and frequent nosebleeds that had been occurring since she was a toddler, sometimes as often as weekly.
Initial assessment showed reading comprehension at 44% when reading out loud and 35% when reading silently on a 3rd grade level passage. Working memory was also below expected levels for her age, with a digit span of 4 forward and 3 backward.
Nicole also demonstrated a homolateral crawl marching pattern, which indicated difficulty coordinating information across both hemispheres of the brain. She had some minor eye tracking challenges as well.
Following Brain Integration:
- Reading comprehension improved to 83% on a 5th grade level passage
- Working memory increased to 7 digits forward and 6 backward (above average for her age)
- Cross-body coordination became more integrated
- Eye tracking issues resolved
- Visual memory became significantly stronger
- School engagement, attention, and confidence improved
- Nosebleeds completely stopped after focused energetic work

By the end of Brain Integration, Nicole’s mom reported that her daughter had much more self-confidence and was saying “I hate school” far less often. At Nicole’s end-of-year conference, her teacher told her mom, “Nicole is a completely different student than 6 months ago.”
Nicole also demonstrated a dramatic improvement in visual memory. By the end of the Brain Integration process, she was able to learn unfamiliar 7-letter words in a foreign language in just seconds and spell them both forward and backward with ease.
